RoboGuru for schools
RoboGuru for WeDo 2.0 runs on the devices schools already own, so you can keep teaching with WeDo 2.0 kits without new hardware. This page covers deployment, purchasing and children's privacy for teachers and IT teams.
Deploying on school devices
Install RoboGuru the same way you install other apps on each type of device.
-
iPads
Install from the App Store, or assign it to managed iPads through Apple School Manager and your MDM.
-
Android tablets
Install from Google Play, or approve and push it to managed tablets through Managed Google Play.
-
Chromebooks and shared computers
Use the Web editor in the browser. Check the browser requirements on the Download page before you plan a lesson.
-
Windows PCs
Install the Windows version from the Download page, or hand it to your IT team for deployment with your usual tools.
Volume purchase
Schools usually buy store apps for many devices through Apple School Manager (volume purchase) or Managed Google Play.
If you need a quote, an invoice or another way to buy for many devices, email us with the number of devices and platforms.
Children's privacy
Before an app reaches children, your school needs to know what it collects. Our privacy policy is the full answer; the points below summarise what is confirmed so far.
- RoboGuru is an independent app, not a LEGO product, so LEGO's privacy terms do not apply to it.
